Elzetta and Gear Sector make a great combination.
Fortis Rail Mounted QD Socket.
Fortis Manufacturing has a few new offerings for the AR platform including this very minimalist rail mounted QD socket. It’s socket is rotation limiting – a feature I prefer for my uses. They’re available with or without a QD swivel from Rainier Arms.
Diamondhead-USA
I finally got my hands on a set of flip up sights from Diamondhead-USA. I fist saw these at last year’s SHOT show and I really like how quickly my eye seemed to pick up the sight picture. Check out their unique design.
Inforce WML
I’m testing Inforce’s WML (Weapon Mounted Light) and initially it seems like a great light for the money. It uses one CR123 light to produce a maximum of 125 lumens of white LED. There is also a LED/IR version. With a great user friendly design the WML has three settings: High output, Low output, and Strobe. The basic unit retails for around $149 and the IR capable version goes for around $179. Check them out.
Gear Sector
I use Gear Sector stuff on my duty weapon. These great components make my duty weapon set up truly useable. Go check them out!
File Reborn
Now this is my idea of good recycling. It’s a used file that’s been reborn as a kick ass knife by Escala Industries. The custom made sheath was done by Armordillo Concealment. Check them out!
Tough as Nails
The line of flashlights from Elzetta are literally tough enough to hammer nails, and there’s video to prove it if you don’t believe me. They use Malkoff Devices modules to produce 235 to 260 lumens of bright LED light. If you’re in the market for a rugged made in the USA flashlight, check them out.
Chainsaw
Noveske is offering some of their blemished lower and upper receivers through Rainier Arms. The come with rather hard to find range use marks already installed at the Noveske Rifleworks factory AND cost less than their standard receivers!
Pig Rig
I picked up one of SKD’s Pig plate carrier’s after reading Stickman’s review on Gear Scout. I’ve got to admit that it’s pretty frig’n awesome. Check them out here: SKD.
